Guidelines for Hospitality/Arts/Entertainment Recovery Fund For-Profit
First Application Period: November 19, 2023 - January 30, 2024
Eligible Participants: Hotels; restaurants (chains & franchises not eligible); breweries; inbound tour operators; receptive operators; film/TV production studios; for-profit arts organizations. All organizations/companies must be based in Gwinnett and for-profit.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must have been in business and operating for two years before applying;
Applicants must have all requisite and current licenses and permits necessary to operate legally within Gwinnett County; and
Applicants must be current on all taxes, if any assessed, and otherwise compliant with all Gwinnett County codes
The business must not exceed 50 employees (including W2 employees and sole proprietors/owners).
The business must operate as a for-profit enterprise
Eligible Operating Expenses: This reimbursement grant is limited to rent, utilities, and payroll costs (Eligible expenses must have been incurred in 2023).
Award Amounts: fall under Gwinnett County’s Small Business Grant guidelines. See below:
0-1 employees, maximum award $3,000
2-10 employees, maximum award $7,500
11-20 employees, maximum award $10,000
21-50 employees, maximum award $15,000
*Please note, applicants should submit for the maximum award offered per category. However, full funding may not be available dependent on number of applications.
